Know the route before you go
Route Recce is a free GPX viewer for cyclists, runners and walkers. Load the GPX for a sportive, gran fondo, trail race or your own ride and play it back on a 3D map with a live elevation profile, street-level photos and the villages, climbs and landmarks you will pass.
What you get
- 3D map with terrain: see every climb and descent in context, coloured by gradient.
- Elevation profile: synced to the map, with climbs detected and labelled by length and average gradient.
- Street-level photos: know what the road surface, junctions and turns look like before you get there.

How to use it
Drag a GPX onto the page or press Load GPX. Press Play to ride the route at bike, run or walk pace, or scrub the elevation profile. Switch between Overview, Follow and Ground camera views.
